Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Fablewise ("the App," "we," "us") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Fablewise is developed by MimoTech Software.

Information We Collect

• Device identifier. Before you sign in, we use your device's identifier (Apple's identifierForVendor) to provide a limited number of free fables without requiring an account.
• Sign in with Apple information. When you sign in, we receive a unique account identifier from Apple, and your name and/or email address if you choose to share them.
• Content you submit and generate. The topics you type in and the fables generated in response are stored in your account so you can revisit them later.
• Purchase and subscription data. If you subscribe, Apple's StoreKit provides us with transaction information so we can confirm your subscription status. We do not receive or store your payment details (card numbers, etc.) — these are handled entirely by Apple.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

How We Use This Information

• To generate the fables you request
• To enforce free-tier and subscription usage limits
• To let you revisit fables you've previously created
• To operate the optional public "Popular" feed, for fables you choose to publish
• To provide customer support if you contact us

Third-Party Services

To generate fable content, the topic and tone you submit are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf to return the generated story; it is not used by Anthropic to train their models under our commercial API terms.

Sign-in and subscription handling are provided by Apple (Sign in with Apple, StoreKit). Apple's own privacy practices govern the information they collect as part of those services.

Public Content

Fables are private by default. If you choose to publish a fable to the Popular feed, its title, story, moral, and selected tone become visible to other users of the app. Your account identity is not displayed alongside published fables.

Data Storage & Retention

Your account data and fables are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your stored fables and account information are deleted from our systems, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Your Choices & Rights

• You can request a copy of the data associated with your account
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time
• You can unpublish any fable from the Popular feed at any time
• You can manage or cancel your subscription directly through your Apple ID account settings

Children's Privacy

Fablewise is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
